Mission Briefing

By the year 2020, humans have colonized space. Deep Space One, America's first permanent space station, is the contested site for humanity's first space battle.

Not wanting to risk unnecessary damage to the one trillion dollar installation, NASA enlists the help of the U.S. Army's highly skilled Infiltrator unit. Working alone, one soldier will secretly infiltrate the installation, neutralize the hostiles, and secure the space station.

You are that soldier. You are The Infiltrator.

Mission Objectives

1. Evade or neutralize the sentry drones.
2. Secure the bio-toxic vials.

To end the game, enter the escape pod.

Mission Challenges

1. No Prisoners: Clear the level of all drones.

2. Close Combat: Use only your knife for defense.

3. Stealth Mode: Sneak around the space station without arousing suspicion.

4. Rail Shooter: Board the cargo hold transport and shoot the stationary targets.

5. Clear and Destroy: Carefully eject each of the alien orbs from the space station. Warning: The orbs will explode if they take too much damage.

6. Free Fall: Board one of the three space elevators and travel high into the sky. Now free fall back on to a roof top target down below. Warning: You will almost certainly die!

Sentry Drones

There are three classes of sentry drones:

GREEN:
Armor - 200
Speed - 200
Damage - 5
Situational Awareness - 180

YELLOW:
Armor - 250
Speed - 225
Damage - 10
Situational Awareness - 270

RED:
Armor - 300
Speed - 250
Damage - 15
Situational Awareness - 360

Mission Stations

A number of wall switches can be activated on the space station. Most appear at different locations each time you play the game.

For in-game help, locate a Help station. To restore your health, locate a Health station. To change the music soundtrack, locate a Music station.

Should you trigger the space station's self-destruct mechanism (by passing near a sentry camera), quickly locate a Command station. You have 30 seconds to deactivate the self-destruct operation.

To change the ambient light level, activate the Ambience station in the command center. Reduced light levels offer more challenge.

Special Locations

A large ammunitions cache can be found in the Armory on Level 2. However, the door to the armory is locked. Locate a hidden key to gain access to a huge weapons cache.

Also visit the Anti-Gravity Lab on Level 3. The floating boxes in this room can be pushed, picked up, thrown, and ejected from the space station. They can also be used for target practice.

To quickly "beam" to another location, go to the Teleporter Room, also on Level 3.

There is a rail gun shooting range in the Cargo Hold on Level 4. For a special challenge, board the transport and use a pistol or sniper rifle to destroy the stationary targets and objects on either side of the room.

In addition to touring the interior locations, also be sure to venture outside the space station and explore it's exterior. Virtually every area of the space station - both inside and out - is accessible, although the means for getting to remote locations is not always obvious.

Custom Soundtracks

You can replace the six .ogg music files in the "Soundtracks" directory with your own .ogg music files. Use the same names as the existing music files.
